Dobson calls Obama ‘the anti-religious freedom president’

James Dobson, one of America’s most-loved Christian personalities, founder of Family Talk Radio, a courtroom opponent of Obamacare and, most recently, the National Day of Prayer speaker who called Barack Obama the “abortion president,” is doubling down.

 

Obama is “the anti-religious freedom president,” Dobson writes in a letter to constituents that is being released online.

 

Although he starts off citing atheist activist Mikey Weinstein, founder of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, and all his public condemnations and court challenges to Christianity, Dobson says Weinstein isn’t the biggest danger to the faithful in America.

 

“Weinstein, for all his bluster, is not the primary threat to the free expression of religion. Despite the pandering he receives from the mainstream media, the greater danger is posed by our federal government,” Dobson warns.

 

“It seeks to limit or weaken religious liberty and to ‘fundamentally transform’ this great nation. That was an oft-quoted campaign slogan by candidate Barack Obama during his presidential bid in 2008. We now know what he meant by it,” he said.
