What Should We Tell Others About the Great Tribulation?
What do we Tell People to do During the Great Tribulation?
By Irvin Baxter
Question: Allen from New Zealand called to ask Irvin: Since people are either going to fight or hide, what do we tell people to do during the Great Tribulation?
Answer: We don’t have one incident after the conversion of the apostles that they ever became violent towards anyone. We have many incidents where they did flee: the Apostle Paul was laid down in a basket over a wall in order to escape the people who wanted to kill him. We have other instances where the apostles and even Jesus Himself evaded people when they were trying to throw him off of a cliff. So it is obvious that all of us are going to avoid harm if we possibly can. Jesus rebuked Peter when he resorted to a sword, and that was before he was saved. Bottom line, the scripture tells us to do violence to no man.

do you recommend storing food and supplies for the end of the age when we can’t buy or sell and if so what is the strategy recommendation?
Hello Joseph,
There is nothing wrong with storing up and being prepared for anything at anytime. Your name sake did this for Egypt when he dreamed of a famine coming. However scripture tells us that if we are seeking the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, God will give us what we need. Matthew 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
