Russia military drills sparks concerns Putin is planning WAR with West

RUSSIA’S upcoming joint military drill with neighbouring Belarus has been described as a “demonstrative preparation for war with the West” amid fears Vladimir Putin could be planning an invasion.

 

Lithuania’s president Dalia Grybauskaite warned the Zapad 2017 joint military drills are a clear indication that Russia is preparing for war.

And she appealed to NATO for more military aid in preparation for what could be ‘the biggest Russian war game in Europe’.

She also sought more assurances European Union allies would come to the aid of the Baltic states, amid fears Vladimir Putin is attempting to annexe them.
