Pence: Democrats, Republicans Must Come Together To Battle Coronavirus, Set Politics Aside

Vice President Mike Pence has warned against new efforts to politicize the latest outbreak of coronavirus in the U.S. During an interview this weekend, he urged all Americans to come together in the face of the virus and join efforts to combat the illness.

“We’re talking about real Americans dealing with the coronavirus, and I think it really is the time to look for ways to come together,” stated Pence. “I continue to believe we have an opportunity to come together to make sure all of our agencies have the resources that they need.”

This came after congressional Democrats accused President Trump of failing to contain the virus.

Despite this criticism, the vice president has emphasized the Trump administration is working to protect the health and lives of all Americans.
