Hamas warns foreign airlines

Fighting between Israel and Hamas continued on Wednesday, a day after negotiations in Cairo aiming to secure a long-term truce collapsed.

Hamas claims that Israel violated the truce by attempting to assassinate the group’s military chief Mohammed in Deif in Gaza City on Tuesday; Israeli officials say the Israel Defense Forces resumed strikes on Gaza after miltants breached the cease-fire by launching rockets at Israel.

The Israeli delegation to the truce talks left Cairo on Tuesday afternoon and the Palestinian delegation left Wednesday, with no deal and no announcement of an extension of the cease-fire.
