Not telling the “FULL TRUTH” on Jesus Resurrection. Note John 20:1 the women came to the tomb while it was still “DARK”!
Since the Lord’s Day runs from about 6 p.m. sunset to the next sunset 6 p.m. not the Catholic Day of Midnight to Midnight.

Jesus had risen sometime after Sunset, end of the Weekly Sabbath. (Saturday after 6 p.m.)

The idea of a Sunrise Service came from Baal Worship. When in Ezekiel 8:16 And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD’S house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.

Even the word “Easter” that was added to the KJV, has nothing to do with Passover or Jesus Resurrection.

This was not an Error in Translation, when a person studies the 1611 KJV Art Work and know that it is full of Occult/Freemasonry Images. Adam/Eve with Belly Buttons is to say that they were not the first humans. Masonic Handshakes etc.

so you had it mostly right, but I’ve listen you this show since the 1990s and know that you all don’t tell the whole truth on many subjects.

So then, a Wednesday crucifiction (I agree):
a.) Changes Palm Sunday to Palm Friday, Jesus enters Jerusalem!! b.) Allows the women an “open” non-sabbath day (Friday) to prepare the burial spices that they would not have been able to do on a Sabbath (high or otherwise). c.) Thursday morning (Matt 28:62..) the high priests petition Pilate to set a guard at the tomb. On Sunday on the road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13..), Jesus discusses the previous events with the two bretheren, and one of them state that “today is the third day since these things were done” (Luke 24:21), refering to setting the guard at the tomb the previous Thursday.

  3. I don’t understand the sequence of events. If Jesus had Passover with the disciples in
the upper room, and he died on
Wednesday, then what day of the week was Passover?

I am well pleased that you are teaching the real truth from the Bible that Christ was crucified on Wednesday and not on Friday. Very few ministers would dare preach this truth in their churches as this truth is contrary to the mainstream Christianity preaching of Christ’s crucifixion on Friday. If the ministers would attempt to preach this truth in their churches, they would be evicted. God is blessing your ministry for preaching the truth from the scriptures.

      Hello Nancy,

The high day Sabbath, meant that there were two Sabbaths that week.In the book of John it says the day following Christ’s death and burial was a high Sabbath, or, as the NIV puts it, “a special Sabbath” (John 19:31). In this case, the high Sabbath was a regular Sabbath day that coincided with the Passover festival. It was a “double Sabbath,” so to speak, and considered “doubly holy”: to the weekly Sabbath, as normally observed, was added the first day of the Passover feast, Nissan 15, which also carried the solemnity of a Sabbath (see Leviticus 23:7–15).

The high day being Thursday. John 19:31 The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.

This meant that Joseph and Nicodemus needed to get Jesus down off the cross and in he garden tomb, located about 100 yards from Golgotha, by sundown on Wednesday.

John 19: 38 And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus.39 And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight.40 Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury.41 Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre, wherein was never man yet laid.42 There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews’ preparation day; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand.

So with Thursday being a high day Sabbath, the women would have to wait until Friday to go and get everything for Jesus burial, then Saturday would be the regular Sabbath.

Mark 16:1 And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.
(So this would have allowed the women to go Friday after the High Sabbath and buy spices for Jesus. Then rest on Saturday and be at the tomb by daybreak Sunday morning.)

2 And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.3 And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?4 And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.5 And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.6 And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.7 But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.

The Jewish day begins at sundown, this is why it was important to get the body down before sundown, because the high day would have started. Thursday, Friday and Saturday are 3 days, Jesus was up before dawn on Sunday.

      Hello Pauline,

We thank you for your offer, however we are not a church ministry, we have a home church that we attend. But, Pastor Baxter is not the pastor of that church. Endtime Ministries is a stand alone ministry and we are funded by our partners. And at this time we have the positioned filled that we are budgeted for. From time to time we do have volunteers come in and help us out. You can help us now by praying for all of us each day. Thank you and Lord bless and keep you.
