The World Government Prior to the Second Coming

Israel National News reports that a Senior Al-Aqsa official has stated that they need to Stop Israel’s plot on Temple Mount

An Official recently told a Hamas newspaper that Muslims must establish facts on the ground to prevent Israel from building a synagogue on the Temple Mount.

Dr. Najah Bakirat, director of the Koran Academy at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, called on Muslims to save the northern and eastern parts of the Temple Mount from Jewish visitors and to prevent the ‘occupation from implementing its ‘destructive’ plans.

In an interview with the Hamas newspaper Felesteen on Tuesday, he said that the Waqf must take immediate action to rehabilitate the eastern part of the mount. He claimed that Israel was trying to prove that the area was abandoned and unused and that only piles of earth and stones could be found there.

According to Bakirat, there is an Israeli plan to build a synagogue and to open the ‘Gate of Mercy’ on the eastern side of the Temple Mount, which has been closed since the days of Saladin in 1187 CE. He called for the exertion of pressure on the Israeli authorities to open the area for Muslim prayer and and to build a Mosque next to the Gate of Mercy (The Eastern Gate).

He also said that Israel is interested in separating the northern part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, a name he used to describe the entire Temple Mount, and erect a synagogue there.

Prophecy foretells that there will be a temple built on the Temple Mount just prior to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 11:1-2, “And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.”

In this account, John was given a vision a shared temple mount and that a temple would built there at least 42 months prior to the Second Coming.

It appears that, according to the prophecies of the Bible, Dr. Bakirat’s claim of Israel’s effort to build a third temple on the Temple Mount, will become a reality.

The question is not if a temple will be built, but when…?
