The book of Revelation is not in chronological order. The seals are the long story, the trumpets are the short story, and the vials are the real short story.
The original word that was translated “pale” in Revelation 6 was “chloros”. This word appears three other times in the New Testament and each time it is translated green (Mark 6:39; Revelation 8:7; Revelation 9:4).
It is commonly believed the tribulation lasts for 7 years but the Bible specifically shows us that the tribulation is 3 ½ years.
The heads of the beast in Revelation 13 refer to the seven heads of Daniel 7. There is one for the lion, the bear, the ten horn beast, and four for the leopard. However they have a special significance in Revelation 17.
As Christians we do not believe it is wrong to celebrate Christmas. It is a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. The Bible does not say it is right or wrong to do this.
God will not allow His church to endure His wrath. The Bible is very clear about that. However, the Bible does not tell us that the tribulation is the wrath of God.
Many believe that the church is raptured in Revelation 4 and as a result are not on earth for any of the following events. First, let’s look at the layout of the book of Revelation.
The things written in the first three chapters of Revelation were pertaining to the seven existing churches of Asia Minor. John was addressing issues that these churches were facing and trying to instruct them.
Luke 21:36 says, “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”
When Matthew 24 says the angels gather together the elect from the four winds from one end of heaven to the other, it is not saying that the elect are in heaven.
