Eagle Eye

In 2008, the movie Eagle Eye starring Shia Labeouf and Michelle Monaghan hit the big screen.  This action thriller involved two people being mixed together because a mysterious “woman” controlled their actions by using the technology of everyday life to track and control their every move.  Unfortunately and under similar circumstances, the Bible foretells of a time when people will be forced to take a mark which will place them under the control of the Antichrist.  To top it all off, this type of control, such as that seen in Eagle Eye and foretold in the Scriptures, exists today and is already in use.

Could you imagine meeting a friend for coffee, placing your phone on the table, and someone recording your entire conversation without your knowledge?  According to alleged NSA documents and former NSA analyst Edward Snowden, the government has the capability to access your mobile device remotely, taking videos, pictures, and audio recordings without you ever having the slightest idea your phone is in use.  Tech-savvy people have illustrated how this can be done and it is astounding.  I watched a gentleman access the camera on his phone from his computer while his phone was locked and not in use, but it didn’t stop there.  He then unlocked the phone and began using it while still accessing the camera on the phone with his computer, but the phone showed no evidence of the hack.

Although there is no current knowledge concerning this type of hack, it is known a hack like this was possible back in 2008.  If it was possible then, surely it would be possible now with our rapid advancements in knowledge.  Some studies have concluded human knowledge is currently doubling every eight years.  According to author H.L. Willmington, “By the time a child born today graduates from college, the knowledge in the world will be four times as great. By the time that child is fifty years old, it will be thirty-two times as great, and 97 percent of everything known in the world will have been learned since the time he was born.”  The Bible itself confirms this as it prophesied an increase of knowledge in the last days in Daniel 12:4.  My point is, if in 2008 the NSA could remotely access mobile devices, there is an incredibly high chance they can do that and much more today.

It is sad to see a nation that was constructed on Biblical principles depredating the foundation on which it was established.  Americans were granted God-given rights and rights concerning privacy, but these rights are slowly deteriorating.  Every day our nation draws closer to the mold of the coming one-world government where the Antichrist will issue a mandatory mark that will enslave people and place individuals under his absolute control.  If the line from Rockwell’s song, “I always feel like somebody’s watching me,” constantly goes through your head, there may be a good reason for that; especially if you live in the United States of America, the Eagle may very well have its eye on you.
