Does Satan Understand the Prophecy?

Question: Christopher from Facebook asked Irvin, does Satan understand scripture and prophecy or does he understand it as men do?

 

Answer:  Satan did not know who Jesus was; he didn’t realize that Jesus was God Himself. The Bible says, if the princes of this world would’ve known the mystery they would not have crucified the Lord of glory because crucifying Jesus was the worst thing he ever did. So no, Satan did not realize who Jesus was. But today, he understands many of those things now. He did not know back then that Jesus is coming twice, he knows this now. I know this because Satan cried out of a man one day and said I know who thou art thy holy one of God, why have You come to torment us before the time. So Satan knows what is now coming.
