QUESTION: Tony asks how long the Bible says WWIII will last. What is Irvin’s opinion?

 

ANSWER: The Bible doesn’t say how long the sixth trumpet war will last. But I can see it lasting quite a while at first, until it goes nuclear. Once it does, it will move fast because at that point it’s whoever can push those buttons first. However, it may start gradually. Some people think we’ve been in World War 3 since 9/11/2001. For instance, Thomas Freedman, columnist for the New York Times, and others say we started WW3 on 9/11. So there is an argument to be made for that because everything going on right now is supposedly a continuation on George Bush’s war on terror. But once the nuclear buttons start being pushed then it is going to start going really, really fast. It is going to be terrible. The Bible doesn’t specifically say how long it will last, but that is my opinion.
