Biblical Fulfillments of Prophecy in 2016

Gay Agenda 2016

Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. The Fulfillment

Same-sex marriage has been legal in the United States since June 26, 2015. It was on that day that the Supreme Court decided that same-sex marriage is protected under the Due Process and Equal Protection Clauses of the Constitution. That decision has continued to impact governmental processes, religious practices and workplace policy throughout 2016. The decision has been called, “the largest conferral of rights on LGBT people in the history of our country.” The idea that same-sex marriage has been legalized tends to leave the impression, with at least half of the non-LGBT Americans surveyed in a recent Harris Poll, that Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Transgender people currently enjoy the same rights as everyone else. However, in 2016 LGBT activists all over the world continued to aggressively push for implementation of their sexual revolution morality through special rights protections, bans on counseling for same-sex attraction, and gender identity protections. As activists mounted a massive campaign to mock, ridicule, and shame opponents of “marriage equality”, bakeries, schools, churches and even bathrooms became battlegrounds for civil rights conflicts.

Victory in Same-Sex

“Marriage” Licenses Fight

In April, the Sixth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals agreed to vacate a lower court’s injunctions against Kentucky County Clerk Kim Davis and dismiss her pending appeals, giving her a clear victory in the fight over Gay Marriage Licenses in Kentucky. U.S. District Judge David Bunning had ruled that Davis could believe what she chooses privately, but she could not exercise her “freedom of religion” publicly. Kim Davis had been jailed for refusing to issue marriage licenses to both gay and straight couples. She had proclaimed, “…to issue a marriage license which conflicts with God’s definition of marriage, with my name affixed to the certificate, would violate my conscience.”

Bakers Threatened

Kern’s Bake Shop in Longview, Texas, became one of many LGBT rights battlegrounds in 2016. After they declined to bake a wedding cake for a gay couple, Edie and David Delorme were bombarded with threats and hate mail.

Retail Giant’s Bathroom Policy Ignites Outrage

Target announced on April 19, a new policy welcoming “transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity. The American Family Association began a petition to boycott Target until the policy is changed. More than a million people joined the boycott. Rev. Franklin Graham noted in late May that “stock value has fallen 20 percent and shareholder value has lost $10 billion since they began promoting this dangerous policy.” After Target had claimed that their transgender bathroom policy was not having a large impact on sales, it was announced that Target stock had fallen 9.7 percent in the last quarter and second quarter sales were down $1.2 billion compared to the same time last year. Target then announced in August that it will spend $20 million to add single-stall, lockable restrooms to every Target store in the nation.

North Carolina Restroom

Privacy Law

North Carolina had challenged the Obama administration’s government overreach when it passed the privacy-protecting HB2 law titled the “Public Facilities Privacy & Security Act.” The law is best known for requiring transgender people to use the bathroom in public buildings that match the gender on their birth certificate. In September, the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) pulled its football championship events from North Carolina to protest the controversial bathroom privacy law. North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory responded, “…I strongly encourage all public and private institutions to both respect and allow our nation’s judicial system to proceed without economic threats or political retaliation toward the 22 states that are currently challenging government overreach.” Police officers have no idea how to enforce the new North Carolina transgender bathroom law. North Carolina has not had even one legal case of discrimination against transgenders using bathroom or locker-room facilities. It is a “problem” that has never existed before, and it still doesn’t exist to this day.

Taking Transgenderism to the Schools

In a letter sent to every public school district in May, the Education Department of the Obama administration has issued new guidelines to allow students to use the bathroom and other facilities based on their “gender identity”, not their biological sex. Although this directive did not have the force of law, it seemed to imply that schools that do not go along with the edict could face lawsuits and/or the loss of federal aid.

Forcing LGBT on Churches

Iowa’s non-discrimination requirements could block an Iowa church from the freedom to preach the gospel. The nondiscrimination requirements specify that any “public accommodation” can be ordered not to say anything that might make a homosexual or a transgender feel “unwelcome”, such as reading something which sounds condemning from the Bible.

Biblical Marriage View may Get Judge Fired

Possible dismissal and disbarment may await a Wyoming municipal judge because of her Biblical beliefs about marriage. The Wyoming Commission on Judicial Conduct and Ethics wants to remove her from her job and disqualify her for service anywhere in the Wyoming judiciary.

President Appoints Transgender to Advisory Faith Council

In May, President Obama named Barbara Satin, Assistant Faith Work Director for the National LGBTQ Task Force, to President’s Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. Satin retired early at the age of 54 and began to explore his “transgender identity”. He adopted the name “Barbara Satin” full-time, explaining, “Barbara was the name of the first girl that I felt attracted to, and Satin is the fabric of my life.”

Celebrating the Same-Sex Agenda

In an article posted by the Christian Research Institute Journal, That Which is Unnatural, Joseph P. Gudel observed that the homosexual movement, “has been militantly demanding not just the homosexuals’ right to do whatever they wish to do behind closed doors, but, more importantly, that society fully accept their lifestyle as both healthy and normal, even demanding special rights and legislation as an ‘oppressed minority’.” LGBT activists want us to accept, affirm and celebrate that which we may have previously ignored or simply tolerated.

One-World Government

The Prophecy

Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. (Daniel 7:23)

The Fulfillment

A small group of prominent “multinationals”, “global merchant banks” and “political power brokers”, otherwise known as the “elites”, have been working for decades behind the scenes, to set up a world government. Ultimately, they envision bringing all of Earth’s inhabitants under the control of a single, global state. Generally, globalists tend to reject the role of nations in protecting values and encouraging productivity.

 

“We shall have world government whether or not you like it – by conquest or consent,” said James Warburg, the son of one of the founders of the Council on Foreign Relations.

 

“Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal, working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure – one world, if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.” David Rockefeller.

 

James Warburg and David Rockefeller are just two of the many leaders who promote one-world government as the answer to global peace and security. Since mankind now has the ability to destroy itself, globalists reason, war must be eliminated. The answer, they say, is to establish a world government, eliminate nations, and place all arms under a single global authority. The world-wide realm of the Antichrist will be just such a global authority.

UN Agenda 2030 Global Socialism

The United Nations General Assembly went to the next level of implementing a communist one-world dictatorship in September 2015, by replacing the Millennium Development Goals with a new 15-year plan called, “Transforming our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.” It is designed to re-engineer civilization and impose global socialism on humanity. The new goals and targets of UN Agenda 2030, as it is called, came into force on January 1, 2016. Many commentators see this “new universal agenda” for humanity as the first public declaration of the long-feared “New World Order”, or the beginnings of a totalitarian one-world government. As Agenda 2030 impacts virtually all areas of human activity, it can be seen as a blueprint for global governance. The entire planet is going to be committing to work toward seventeen far-reaching goals, yet there has been very little media coverage of Agenda 2030 in the United States.

Environmental Catastrophe Postponed

Goal 13 of UN Agenda 2030 is, “Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts.” The record-breaking East Coast blizzard of January 2016 seemed to be another reason to be skeptical of global-warming propaganda. However, at the same time, most of eastern Asia was also experiencing its own blizzard, which claimed 80 lives in Taiwan alone. Climate alarmists’ predictions have been wrong so often that there are websites dedicated to cataloging failed environmentalist predictions. Among them are The American Enterprise Institute, The Federalist and The Daily Caller. In February, a poll in The Dally Caller documented how 91% of Americans aren’t worried about global warming.

Borders will be Irrelevant

Goal 10 of UN Agenda 2030 is, “Reduce inequality within and among countries.”

Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell claims that borders will become “irrelevant” by the end of the century. Fear of over-population as part of an open-border immigration policy is actually part of the implementation of UN Agenda 2030. Environmentalists insist that the borders must be open to allow as many to immigrate as possible. Actually, open borders is part of the drive to destroy national sovereignty and eliminate nation states. In August, European Commission Chief Jean-Claude Juncker called national borders “the worst invention ever.”

End United States, Build China- Style Regional Government

In May, Parag Khanna, a Council on Foreign Relations globalist, announced that it is time for the United States to reorganize into massive regions with powerful regional governments subject to national or international authorities. The plan is for America to become more like Communist China, and eventually become part of a North American Union.

Turning Children into Global Citizens

Goal 4 of UN Agenda 2030 is, “Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. Target 16.2 of UN Agenda 2030 is, “End abuse, exploitations, trafficking and all forms of violence against and torture of children.” In September, a United Nations “Education Plan to Indoctrinate Children in Globalism” was adopted by the United Nation at a summit in Korea. Children will experience “merged development” of the “whole person” including their beliefs, values, spirituality and lifestyle. They will be trained to understand their responsibilities to “protect the planet”, and promote the UN agenda for the “common good”. Part of the indoctrination involves isolating the children from parental influence which may not support development as “global citizens”. Under the guise of combating “violence against children”, the Obama administration is joining in a “global partnership” to wage war on parental rights. 

Beefing Up Law Enforcement

The United Nations brought together more than 100 national police chiefs in June at it’s first-ever UN “Chiefs of Police Summit”. (UN COPS) Also, the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice and the United Nations have called for the federalization of U.S. law enforcement to be “beefed up” all over America. The Human Rights Council of the United Nations is urging the Department of Justice to federalize as many as 18,000 local police jurisdictions.

Communist China Touts “Lead Role” in New World Order

Communist China hosted and led the “Group of 20” G20 Summit for the first time in September. The regime boasted about its “leading role” in “global economic governance” and building up “the international order”. The Chinese Communist Party’s leaders and propaganda organs have been celebrating the emerging New World Order — and their major role within it.

Obama’s Final UN Address Promotes Globalism and a Palestinian State

In September, while making his eighth and probably final appearance at the UN, President Obama openly stated that in order to be more secure, Americans need to give up some of their liberties and submit to international governance. He urged countries to embrace liberal democracy and internationalization. He firmly defended globalism, and declared that Israel “cannot permanently occupy and settle Palestinian land.” That statement about “Palestinian land” was extremely ominous to many because it seems to suggest that Obama may decide to support a UN Security Council resolution that establishes the parameters for a Palestinian state during his final months in the White House. President Obama said that he is “convinced that in the long run, giving up some freedom of action… binding ourselves to international rules over the long term — enhances our security.”

The Prophecy

And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. And in the days of these kings will the God of heaven set up a kingdom that will never pass away. (Daniel 2:41-44)

 

After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. (Daniel 7:7)

The Fulfillment

Europe appears in Daniel’s vision of successive world kingdoms as brass thighs (Greece), iron legs (Roman Empire) and iron and clay feet (Reborn Holy Roman Empire). One reason why this prophecy is so important is that the Antichrist and the False Prophet will both come out of this reborn Holy Roman Empire. The Holy Roman Empire was reborn with the signing of the Lisbon Treaty in 2009, and prophecy is being fulfilled as the European Union moves toward more integration and centralization, and toward the formation of a European Superstate, The United States of Europe. The kingdom which rises from this European Superstate will have a one-world apostate religion and a global economy. Globalization will seduce the nations of the world to follow the Antichrist and give up their sovereignty to the global government rising out of the re-born Holy Roman Empire, just before the Second Coming of Jesus.

Brexit Vote: To Leave or Not to Leave the EU

On June 23, British voters had the opportunity to express their opinion on whether to remain in the European Union. The nickname for leaving the EU is “Brexit”. Although polls on the eve of the vote showed people tending toward staying in the international organization, the race was expected to go down to the wire. The British have been debating their membership ever since the UK joined the union in the early 1970s. In mid-February, David Cameron made the case for staying in the EU, calling an Out vote a “step into the dark.” No nation state has ever left the EU. However, Greenland, one of Denmark’s overseas territories, held a referendum in 1982 and eventually left the EU, after a period of negotiation. Cameron believes in “safety in numbers in a dangerous world.” Time magazine has called the European Union, “the world’s greatest ever experiment in globalization.” The free movement of goods, people and capital across borders is under threat in Europe. Many see deeper integration, combining the member states into a unified whole, as the only solution.

Brexit Referendum: Leave the EU

It was decided that Great Britain would leave the European Union when the historic Brexit referendum passed on June 23, 2016. World leaders reacted with concerns about stability, that they were extremely worried about the global economy, and warned against building “walls of political and economic selfishness.” Time magazine called the Brexit vote “a stunning victory for the anti-establishment forces that have upended mainstream politics across the Western world.” Eurosceptic Members of the European Parliament from Sweden, Germany, Italy and France said a number of governments will now push to hold referendums of their own, and try to renegotiate their own individual deals. French far-right leader Marine le Pen said, “It’s just a matter of time. Britain has set a precedent. Other member states will follow and the whole thing will fall apart. It will happen very soon.”

United States of Europe Plan

In April, European ministers had signed just such a plan of deeper integration, a plan to create a federal United States of Europe. Meeting in Rome, speakers of the national parliaments of Germany, France, Italy and Luxembourg declared that they wanted to integrate a broad spectrum of policies. “It should include all matters pertaining to the European ideal — social and cultural affairs as well as foreign, security and defense policy,” they said.

Brussels Wants EU Superstate

Boris Johnson, one of Britain’s best-known politicians, claimed in May that the European Union wants to create an EU Superstate, in a similar manner to the way Hitler tried to create a world superpower. Johnson proposed that both the bureaucrats in Brussels and Hitler shared the same goal of unifying Europe under one “authority”.

Charlemagne Prize for Pope Francis

Pope Francis was awarded the Charlemagne Prize in May 2016.

Pope Francis received the International Charlemagne Prize of Aachen, Germany as an award for his insistent efforts toward the unification of Europe, the rebirth of the empire of Charlemagne – the Holy Roman Empire.

Transnational EU Military

The European Union wants to have sovereignty over all national militaries within the EU. The transnational EU military will be loyal only to the regime ruling Europe from Brussels. European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker has proceeded with plans for an EU army and has announced plans for a European military headquarters. Juncker claimed a lack of a “permanent structure” means money is being wasted on duplicate missions.

Creation of European Superstate

Germany and France have devised a plan to create a European Superstate, the United States of Europe. Charisma News reports that the decision by the British people to leave the European Union may actually accelerate the process of creating an EU Superstate, as the UK had usually tended to stand in the way of creating a “United States of Europe.”

A popular Christian apostasy is the teaching that God has revealed Himself in many different ways to different cultures. Therefore, it would follow that all religions worship the same god, but just use different names. Thus, apostate “Christian” leaders often teach that there are many different paths to God, and that Jesus

 

is only one of them. These false teachers will succeed, temporarily, when the Antichrist rises to power with the help of the one-world religion of the False Prophet. (Revelation 13:12) This kind of one-world thinking continued to gain ground in 2016, with many Christian leaders pleading for tolerance, to the point of embracing apostasy.

Catholics and Lutherans Remember the Reformation

In January, Pope Francis announced his participation in a joint Lutheran-Catholic worship service in October which will kick off a series of events planned for 2017 to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.

Man Appointed by EU to Solve Religious Conflict

The European Union has appointed Ján Figeľ as “Special Envoy for the promotion of freedom of religion or belief outside the EU.” His job will be to spread “European values” over the entire globe, and to work toward solving cultural divisions and religious conflict.

Global Conference on the World’s Religions

The Third Global Conference on the World’s Religions met in Montreal on September 15, 2016. The theme of the event was, “After September 11: From Faith to Interfaith.” The goal was to “bring together the various religions of the world in an ecumenical spirit to address the many issues facing the world today and adopt a Universal Declaration of Human Rights.” More than 500 scholars and others attended the conference, well below the totals of 2,025 in 2006 and over 3,000 in 2011.

2016 False Unity

Thousands of professing Christians gathered at the Washington Mall in July for an event called Together 2016. Attendees were largely unaware that the event, at which they prayed that Jesus would “reset” the country and their lives, was actually set up to reset the Reformation, to unite with our Catholic “brothers and sisters”. Pope Francis added his name to the lineup of prominent guest speakers and musicians by delivering a video message to address the crowd. Together 2016 is a prime example of the false unity which filled 2016 with the kind of pervasive compromise and accommodation which lay the foundation for the final one-world religion.
