Are there denominations participating in false doctrine and not knowing it?

Larry from Arizona wanted to know what denominations have false doctrines that Irvin refers to in the Endtime Magazine.

 

You have stated that the daughters are the Protestant churches that have broken off from the Catholic Church throughout history but they retained much of the mother churches’ false doctrines. What church or denomination are you referring to?

Answer

Irvin: Most of the Protestants broke off from the Catholic Church starting with Martin Luther and then people discovered other truths and continued to move back to the full truth as was given in the book of Acts to the Apostles, by Jesus Christ. Well, that’s been a process. Along the way, some denominations when they had discovered one truth they stopped there and instead of moving on into the fullness of truth they’ve stopped and made a shrine. For example, a lot of those same denominations are now moving back into the Roman Catholic Church; for example, sprinkling for baptism – there is not one scripture in the entire Bible where anyone was ever baptized by sprinkling. The Bible says that baptism is supposed to be a burial, but mankind took liberties and decided that he would sprinkle. Also, there are many other things, for example, confession to the priest, Lent, having statues, etc. What happens is when these churches don’t continue to walk in the light; the light they seem to have will become darkness. So, now we have churches that were at one time on fire for truth, now they are ordaining homosexuals, such as the Methodists and the Episcopalians, they are ordaining homosexuals to be their pastors. So all these churches are now in apostasy and they are moving back toward Rome. Most of them are in the process of reuniting with the Roman Catholic Church right now. But, in the middle of all that, there are people who say, I’m not doing that, I’m going back to full Bible Christianity.
